This notice describes how Vardline handles personal data in connection with this website. It was last updated in October 2026.

What we collect

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics of its own. Our hosting provider loads a performance-monitoring script on each page as part of the hosting service; we do not use it to identify visitors.

The contact form is processed by Formspree, Inc. in the United States, which forwards your message to us and keeps a copy for a limited period under its own privacy policy. If you write to us, through the form, by email or otherwise, we receive the name, company, email address and any other information you include.

Why we hold it, and for how long

We use what you send us to answer your enquiry and, where it leads to work, to carry out and record that engagement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us, and, once engaged, the performance of a contract.

Correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is deleted within twelve months. Records relating to an engagement are retained for as long as professional, insurance and statutory requirements apply, and then deleted.

Who sees it

Enquiries are read by the partners. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. Where an engagement requires it, information may be shared with a named associate working under a partner’s direction, or with a third party you have asked us to deal with.

Our email and this website are hosted by third-party providers, which process messages and server logs on our behalf in order to deliver the service.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to enquiries@vardline.com. If you are in the EEA or the UK and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority; in Norway this is Datatilsynet.
