Marine systems, inspection and offtake
Management systems and governing documentation
Most marine management systems are written by people who have never had to work inside one. The result is a manual nobody opens and a procedure the crew quietly works around. We write systems that hold up on the day they are used.
What we deliver
Governing documentation
The documents that say how the organisation runs its marine activity: policy, responsibilities, interfaces between owner, operator and contractor, and the decision authority that applies when conditions change.
Marine operations manuals
Operations manuals for floating units and offshore vessels, written against the actual plant and the actual crew structure rather than a generic template.
Procedures and acceptance criteria
Procedures for the operations that carry the most risk — disconnection and reconnection, offtake, heavy weather, hook-up — with acceptance criteria that can be measured on the day.
Systems for new organisations
Where an owner is standing up a marine organisation from nothing, the full set built from first principles and handed over with the people trained on it.
When to involve us
At the point an owner takes responsibility for a unit, when an organisation grows past the point where custom holds it together, or after an incident or audit finding that the existing system did not prevent.
Typical engagement: a defined document set delivered to an agreed scope, or a retained arrangement through a build and start-up.
Contact
If you have a unit in build, on tow or about to connect, we would like to hear about it.
A partner will reply, usually within one working day.
