Marine systems, inspection and offtake

Marine systems, offloading and turret operations

A floating unit earns its keep only while it is connected and offloading. We support owners and operators with the marine, offloading and turret systems on the unit: planning and executing disconnection and reconnection, maintenance stops on assets still producing, and the procedures the crew actually works to.

What we deliver

Turret and STL disconnection and reconnection

Preparation and release of turret and submerged turret loading systems: ballasting and stability conditions, release sequence, recovery and return to service. Planned and executed from the unit side.

Offloading and offtake systems

Offloading hose and hawser systems, tandem and shuttle tanker interfaces, DP shuttle tanker approach and connection, and the offtake procedures that govern them.

Maintenance stops on producing assets

Planning and marine supervision of maintenance stops and repairs on units that stay in the field, with the production and marine interfaces managed together.

Procedures and crew familiarisation

Marine operations procedures written against the actual plant and the actual crew structure, and the familiarisation that goes with handing them over.

When to involve us

At the planning stage of a disconnection or a scheduled maintenance stop, or when an operator takes over a unit and needs the marine procedures to match the plant as built.

Typical engagement: a defined campaign with a partner on board, or a retained arrangement across a unit’s operating life.
