Topsides & production systems readiness
Production systems are commissioned once and operated for twenty years. We provide owner’s engineering support and commissioning readiness oversight from FEED through first gas, so the system that is handed over is the system that was designed.
What we deliver
Owner’s engineering support
Independent engineering review of topsides and production system design from FEED through detailed design, on behalf of the owner.
Commissioning readiness
Review of commissioning procedures, systemisation and completion status ahead of pre-commissioning, with a written readiness assessment.
FAT and SIT oversight
Oversight of factory acceptance and site integration testing for production and process control systems.
First gas support
Marine and production representation through start-up and first gas, carrying knowledge of the design intent into operation.
When to involve us
From FEED, so the owner’s intent is represented while the design can still be influenced. We are also engaged later, at systemisation or ahead of commissioning, to give an independent readiness view.
Typical engagement: periodic reviews through design and construction, full-time through commissioning and first gas.
